Hi. My name is Mandi and I’m an organizing junkie. I’m also a wife, and Momma to four little girls (5.5, 4, 2.5 and a baby!). I've worked at home since our oldest was a baby, and like a lot of other moms, my life is a constant balancing act of caring for my family and my home, meeting my obligations and finding time for hobbies in there somewhere. Oh, yeah, in the interest of full disclosure, I’m somewhat of a kitchen dunce and I only like to pretend that I’m crafty. Read more here!

to “ Question of the Day: What are you thankful for? ”
- The gifts my children make for me at school.
- My kitten recovery from an almost deadly illness.
- My brother-in-laws girlfriend coming into our lives.
- Mom moving closer to us.
- my children teaching me a lesson from time to time.
But the one thing I am most grateful for is the financial hardship we dealt with the last year. We had to downsize and begin to live a simple life. This new life has humbled us and made us the happiest we’ve ever been.

This year, I am particularly thankful for:
- The amazing people in my life, from my hilarious and loving husband, to my wonderfully crazy and fun-loving family (in-laws and blood relatives alike!), to my fabulous friends, to my insightful and often brilliant coworkers.
- Having a job that challenges, rewards, and teaches me on a daily basis.
- Having learned a lot more about myself this year and learning to work with my personality to achieve my goals instead of fighting my personality.
My Faithful Hard Working Husband
My 4 kiddos even though the last one still doesn’t sleep through the night!
Jesus for dying on the cross for our sins
For living in the land of Freedom
For blogs such as these, from which I learn more and more, healthy children, a roof over my head, our tiny city-state being sheltered and protected. And adopting a Pollyanna attitude- this morning I realised that my landline was disconnected (consequence of forgetting to pay bills on time and not having put aside the cash for it!) as upset as I was, I tried to be thankful that the husband was home; at least his mobile was a way of staying connected outside the flat. Yea, hardships are one way to be thankful for what you already have and even take for granted.
I’m thankful for:
:: a sweet baby girl this holiday season.
:: three beautiful little girls that call me momma.
:: an amazing husband who is my best friend and the love of my life.
:: continued health as we’ve made it through the swine flu and another virus without any serious complications.
:: my amazing little sister.
:: my mom, who’s also one of my closest friends.
:: our extended families.
:: a job I love.
:: a blog I love.
:: friends who live in the computer.
:: our upcoming trip to celebrate my grandmother’s 75th birthday.
:: …and join Mickey Mouse for a Christmas celebration!
:: my God who loves me despite my failings.
:: a beautiful home.
I’m afraid I’m forgetting something obvious, but I’ll just come back and add more if I think of them!
What are you thankful for this year?
