Big News!

As we head into summer, I wanted to tell you about an exciting new project I’ve been working on. This week, we officially launched Simple Nest, which is part of the Simple Living Media blog network developed by Tsh of Simple Mom! The network also includes Simple Kids, with other blogs in the works as well, all with one goal in mind – to help you simplify your life!

While Organizing Your Way will continue to focus on organizing, decluttering and time management, Simple Nest will be more geared towards simple decorating. We’ll still be talking about organizing and decluttering at both blogs, but to use a phrase you know I love, Simple Nest will focus on form while Organizing Your Way will focus on function.

In other news, I’ve decided to take a break from our Weekly Hot Spots here at Organizing Your Way for the summer. Instead, I’ll be covering a wide variety of topics and articles. I’ll still be posting 4-5 times a week, but the posts won’t be as focused on one area of our homes or lives as they have been in the past. My plan right now is to go back to Weekly Hot Spots in the fall, but we’ll see how this goes first. I’d love to hear from you if you feel strongly about it one way or the other!

I am enjoying the growing community here so much. I had no idea that my recent question about dressing kids in coordinating or matching outfits would draw so many comments (with such strong opinions!), but I’ve loved reading through everything you had to say. If you haven’t read through the comments yet, it’s definitely an interesting read!
