Last year, Tara from Deal Seeking Mom and I partnered to create the One Dollar Give, a giving campaign that ran throughout the month of December.

This year, we’re doing things a little bit differently and focusing on just one organization to see how big of an impact we can make.

A donation of $5 to Feeding America provides more than 45 pounds of food, or 10 bags of groceries, to a family in need. In today’s economic climate, this is a tangible way to make a difference in the lives of your neighbors.

Please stop by the One Dollar Give and consider donating $5 to help us reach our goal this Christmas season!

  1. Seasons Greeting to all,

I just donated and I fully support the cause. THe holiday season is a time to share, even if it is a little. I’m new to the group o far I can only contribute advice on a great book that I recently read that truly moved me and motivated me. The book is called The Stocking Stuffer By Violet Summers and the book is available at publishamerica.net or Publishamerica if you do a google search. The book is a good treat for yourself or a colleague or friend during the holiday season. The author is using the proceeds to help combat homelessness. Although times are tough, if you can please purchase the book.
