31 Days of Organizing for a Better 2010

First, a big welcome to those of you visiting from Apartment Therapy. I’m honored (and to be honest, a little bit in shock) that Organizing Your Way was featured by Lindsey Roberts over the weekend, and I’m glad you’ve stopped by!

Next, I’m excited to announce a series I am working on for January, 31 Days of Organizing for a Better 2010: More Than Resolutions.

The problem with most resolutions is they’re broad and abstract. Each day in January we’ll be looking at a different common resolution and some practical, measurable steps to achieve your goal. I’m really excited about the series, and I hope you’ll plan on joining me for topics such as creating a budget, becoming a more intentional parent, learning something new and improving your blog (plus 27 others!).

If you’d like to help spread the word about the series, you can grab the button below for your blog as well:

I really appreciate all the great post ideas you shared on last week’s Question of the Day post, and I’m adding them all to the editorial calendar. If you have an idea you’d like to share, please leave a comment or send me an email.

And finally, we’ll be looking at different calendars and planners for the next few weeks with a giveaway each week to give you plenty of chances to win!

If you’re not already subscribed, I’d encourage you to subscribe in a feed reader or by email so you don’t miss a thing. You can also join us on Facebook for more conversation and special giveaways!

Mandi Ehman

Hi. My name is Mandi and I’m an organizing junkie. I’m also a wife, and Momma to four little girls (5, 3.5, 2 and a new baby!). I've worked at home since our oldest was a baby, and like a lot of other moms, my life is a constant balancing act of caring for my family and my home, meeting my obligations and finding time for hobbies in there somewhere. Oh, yeah, in the interest of full disclosure, I’m somewhat of a kitchen dunce and I only like to pretend that I’m crafty. Read more here!

  4. Yea, I cant wait for the resolutions too. Finally this year, I had made one that I could keep faithfully. I resolved not to buy any more monthly magazines- to save costs and reduce the clutter. Very proud to say, that it was relatively easy to stick to it ;D But of course, two of my children have taken over my spot as the mag junkie but hey theirs are of educational value and better entertainment than TV!
With the success upkeep of this year’s resolution, I am certainly looking to picking one from you to better improve myself ;>
    Thanks, Mandi!!!
