Surfin’ the Net – 4/26-5/9
Last week I didn’t share any links with you because I was so behind in Google Reader. To be honest, I was tempted to just mark them all as read and start fresh next week, but I knew I’d likely miss some posts worth reading if I did that. As it turns out, I’m glad I set aside some time to read through them all because I’ve got some great ones for you!
:: Unclutterer shares Five Uncluttered Aphorisms, all of which are valuable tidbits for living a simple, uncluttered life.
:: Becoming Minimalist shares another benefit of living an uncluttered life: Less Work for Someone Else. If you’re not willing to do it for yourself, this is definitely another incentive to consider.
:: Speaking of other people, Krista from Organize in Style reminds us that we’re not obligated to store other people’s stuff in our space.
:: Tanna from Complete Organizing Solutions is launching a new series about Paper Less Living. I’m excited to hear more about her strategies for making this happen over the next month!
:: And part of living a simple life is eliminating trash and waste. Marcia, the Organising Queen, shares 3 Ways to Use Food So It Doesn’t Spoil.
:: If you haven’t yet seen these adorable chore cards that Angie from The Creative Mama made for her son, be sure to check them out! I’m fairly certain my pictures aren’t going to be anywhere near as gorgeous as hers are, but the idea is fantastic either way!
:: Melissa from The Inspired Room guest posts for Remodeling Guy and shares the Top Ten Things She Learned for Remodeling a Kitchen on a Budget.
:: And finally, The Nester shares her genius idea for being able to take advantage of great home decorating finds without worrying about whether they’ll match or not: a Fabric File To-Go.
Phew, that’s all I’ve got this week. If you’ve got a post to share, leave it using Mr. Linky below so we can all come check it out!

Mandi, glad you liked our lil cards! I’d love to know how they work for you and the girls, hugs!
